Welcome to The Exchange Surgery
We are a small GP surgery with a team of experienced staff.
We work to promote the benefits of continuity of care, and to ensure that your doctor knows you as an individual. There are benefits to you in being able to see the same GP for your appointments and to know that they are aware of you and your family’s situation.
For this reason we encourage that your whole household is registered with us to allow us to co-ordinate your care where this is beneficial.

NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
The situation regarding Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is rapidly evolving and we are monitoring it carefully. Please read the information below carefully (updated 17 March 2020)
The NHS in south east London and Public Health England (PHE) are well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to protect patients, our community and NHS staff while ensuring as many services as possible are available to the public.
If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for 7 days.
Please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP practice.
If you live with other people, they should stay at home for at least 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home. After 14 days, anyone you live with who does not have symptoms can return to their normal routine.
But, if anyone in your home gets symptoms, they should stay at home for 7 days from the day their symptoms start. Even if it means they're at home for longer than 14 days. The most up-to-date public guidance is always online at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus
If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.
Only call 111 direct if you are advised to do so by the online service or you cannot go online.
Please note that Coronavirus testing is not available in Primary Care
Connect Lamebth - Support available
Gateway service is available to help offer advice, support, information and reassurance. Open to any age, the public can call us on 0207 346 6800 (option 6) or email email@example.com.
The Gateway service is also co-ordinating requests for tasks such as shopping, dropping off donations, welfare calls etc. We are just about to be able to take payments over the phone so people unable to get out to the shops can pay us for their shopping and do not need to hand their debit cards over to anyone else. More details to follow. The HandyFix team are coordinating the actual tasks being done, and indeed doing lots of shopping themselves with the help of volunteers.
If you feel you were affected by recent terror attack in our area, please see the document below information sheet for Self-Care After an Incident of Violent Crime
